The 2019 AUSA Annual Meeting and Exhibition
A former officer and ground commander with the United States Army, Dana Pittard has served as vice president of defense programs with Indianapolis’s Allison Transmission since 2015. He has also authored a book titled, Hunting the Caliphate which comes out in late August 2019. To augment his professional activities, Dana Pittard regularly attends the Annual Meeting and Exhibition of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA).
The AUSA is committed to furthering the US Army and its affiliates through a range of education and outreach initiatives that support a strong national defense. In lieu of this, the organization hosts an annual meeting to gather experts and professionals in the industry. The 2019 AUSA Annual Meeting and Exhibition will take place from October 14-16 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. AUSA officials expect the event to attract more than 30,000 defense industry professionals and more than 700 exhibits from more than 80 countries.
The event will feature a wide variety of programs that include military and military family forums, Institute of Land Warefare forums, Department of Homeland Security breakout sessions, a small business seminar, a Department of the Army civilian professional development seminar, and a pre-retirement/survivor benefit plan briefing. The 2019 AUSA Annual Meeting and Exhibition will also provide ample international networking opportunities.
